Maintenance Free Cavity Wall Insulation and a New Roof in Kent Back to case studies

Project Overview

This customer’s 36’ x 20’ home, situated in Kent, was originally finished in a pebble-dash render.  The customer chose to replace this with our maintenance free cavity wall insulation.

The customer chose a two-tone effect for the maintenance free product using GOTLAND which is a pale grey colour and BASALT which is a darker grey as an accent colour.

The customer also wanted a new roof.

Project Solution

We visited the home in May 2017 (whilst on site speaking to another potential customer) to better assess the client’s preferences with regard to colour and to discuss their requirements regarding the roof.

We took measurements for the walls and discussed the size of the centre-board for the roof.  The centre-board is what enables us to change the pitch of the roof.

What Happens Next

The quote was sent to the customer and all was agreed.  The customer then went on holiday to a location with only occasional internet access which made things a little tricky as the customer was keen to proceed with the paperwork and get the work booked in.  We got there in the end however and the work was booked for September 2017.

Overnight accommodation was booked as Kent is around a three hour drive away.  The vans were loaded, the lads set off for site and the work began.

The before and after pictures are fantastic and the client was really pleased with the end result.

Wow! What a team the Nuvex guys are.  In less than eight days they have transformed my tired and dull, thirty year old Park Home into an eye catching, modern, well insulated home that is the envy of others on the park.  Nothing was too much trouble for the team.  Darren's creativity, knowledge and experience delivered a masterful touch of class to make my home special.

It is always advisable to seak permission from the site owner before having any work done.
